1:1 Somatic Attachment Sessions

Begin with what your body is already communicating.

Private, body-first somatic support for noticing the nervous-system and attachment patterns that shape relationship, identity, and everyday life. Rather than leading with analysis or your full story, we begin with sensation, breath, tension, impulse, posture, and the protective strategies your body has learned. More than one thing can be true at once; the practice is to notice what is most prominent without reducing yourself to it.

01

Start with the body

Stress and attachment protection can show up through tension, bracing, fatigue, urgency, shutdown, disconnection, or a system that moves quickly into fight-or-flight activation. We begin by noticing what is happening now—without pressure to perform, force insight, or relive every experience.

02

Track your nervous-system states

Together, we notice breath, posture, sensation, impulse, pace, and attention. We explore how attachment patterns may appear as staying on alert, pushing through, pulling away, over-accommodating, or losing touch with your own needs.

03

Practice support and choice

Sessions may include orienting, grounding, breath, movement, and simple regulation practices you can use anywhere. The aim is not to remain in a particular state; it is to understand what your body may be protecting and find a 95%-doable next choice.

04

What can begin to shift

Over time, you may build more embodied awareness, clearer access to needs and boundaries, more space before reacting or shutting down, and more capacity for connection without losing yourself. Maria’s work is educational and experiential—not licensed psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or a replacement for licensed care.

This may be a fit if

You want to begin with what is happening now.

You feel disconnected from your body, needs, emotions, or sense of self.
You notice bracing, urgency, overwhelm, numbness, shutdown, or staying on alert.
You are curious about how repeating relationship patterns shape boundaries and connection.
You want a paced private space that does not require your whole story first.

Common questions

A clear, grounded place to begin.

Is this therapy?

No. Sessions are educational and experiential somatic support. Maria is not a licensed psychotherapist and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Will I need to retell my story?

No. Your story is welcome if useful, but it is not the starting requirement. The work can begin with present sensation, breath, tension, movement, and nervous-system cues.

What happens in a session?

Maria may guide you to slow down, notice body signals, explore what a protective response may be communicating, and try simple practices such as orienting, breath, movement, or grounding. You are never required to disclose more than feels appropriate.

How do I know whether this is a fit?

A complimentary clarity call is a simple place to ask questions and decide whether this body-first approach is an appropriate next step.

There is room to begin where you are.

Book a no-pressure clarity call or choose a private session if you already know this approach feels aligned.
